A friend of mine in real estate ever told me that why I choose MLM business in 2002?
Why I choose MLM? During that time, I was actively in HDB property market. I met many clients who if sold their flat, will lost their CPF monies because they bought it at high prices. This group of clients usually were retrenched, lost their job or having financial difficulties. They only see selling of their houses is the only way out. Worse still, it requires some of the resale flat must obtained bank mortagage loan with 2%, 4% - 10% cash which due to their salary income make them not eligible.
Worst of all, there is a widespread of 'cash back' which is against my principle. It will let to more serious problem to my clients if they insist on the cash back to resolve their financial problems.
Now with the HDB valuation report come into effect and market price is at the realistic price, HDB resale market is stable.
With this new development, I was able to do two good deeds. One is to get their house sold, bought or lease and the other give my clients opportunity to do side income with my MLM business. For those who have financial difficulties and can't sell their houses, I can help them with my MLM business rather than some agents who decline to meet them once they know the said client selling at a loss and can't pay their commission.
With this dual opportunities, my conscience is clear.
